Quite A Day

I worked today and its quite too busy. As usual I still don't get so much help from my co-worker. And one of them is making me nuts. I don't want to reveal who she is but I just don't like the way she treated me. For the past month I thought we already patched our differences, but it seems now it's getting worst. The more the days are getting busier, she's changing a bit. I don't know what's up with her. Anyway, I don't care so much if I will resign. I will give her the medicine she deserves. She's getting on my nerves and I believe she felt the same way with me. I tried to be cordial but if she's tough I could get even with her.

I am just running some thoughts here for the last minute. I still have to do some packing and help my husband. I will be in the east coast for 13 days and we will depart tomorrow at 12pm. We'll visit relatives and attend a wedding and do some city tour with 3 different states. I wish for the best of the trip and enjoy all the days staying there. Follow me in my journey!

The change

From last week heatwave and now a cooling weather and with the fire that hit last Sunday, the sky is gloomy. The smell of the ashes is terrible. I had not coping the weather change. I got a terrible headache yesterday. I came to work with a headache. When my boss came, he asked how I've been. I told him not so good. He asked me why and I told him that I got a headache. I took my break for lunch. Tried to take a nap for 15 minutes and eventually I did sleep in that period of time. That just how tired and sick I was. I came back to work and logged in to proceed to do my thing.

Our office is undergoing a roof repair. During the rainy season, it was terrible. The ceiling had some spots due to the leakage. The management was caught up on the complaints from the Director so they're doing the repair now since the season is over. With the repair that is going on, with the headache I was facing, the rattling sounds or should I say the noise from the hammer trigger my illness to got worst. I took some pills already few hours before that. My head was still pounding. 30 minutes after I got in from my break, my boss came to me and told me to go home. He said it's not going to better if I stay with my head that's pounding in pain. I didn't say no to that. Anyway, I am entitled for my sick leave and I am not using it often. I was glad that I came home and relax.

Luck not in the side

I felt a little sad on how things are going these days. First was that SS give me temporary penalty for an error I made on the interim post policy. So meaning my account is locked up for days. I just hope that even though they locked me up after gaining back my account, they will still give me OP. The second thing was at my job. My boss give me another questioning mood again. Despite his mannerism, I don't give a damn anymore. I am counting 6 more weeks and I will be gone. I need to start my own business and I believe I have more freedom on my time. Also if I can, find a new better job and better rate. The 3rd thing came up, the aircon didn't blow up some cold air. Hubby and I didn't sleep well last night due to that. So by this morning, hubby came to purchase a new aircon from Home Depot. The 4th thing, while me and hubby was looking for some houses in San Jose, he noticed the engine light is on. It is still a new car and it show some error. So we were kind of worried. We got home and hubby came to check it. He assumed he pumped a not so good quality gas the last time he gas up the car. I hope nothing major happen on the car. We don't want things to go so wrong especially that we only driving one car this time. My hubby's truck got a problem and he can't drive it anymore. He need to get some time to fix it and the place we are living it will not be happening. We will find another car after our trip this coming July. More expenses ahead of us. I hope things can be settled soon. Nothing major happen and we could find our luck someday. Wish us the best of luck! Will be needing it.

Cancun

It was an ultimate dream to able to see this beautiful shoreline of Cancun. I came here year 2006. It was almost 2 years from the time I visited the place. An anniversary wedding gift from hubby who always make surprises. I was thankful and happy for he thought of showing me this magnificent beach. I had a good time exploring the sand and walking hand in hand under the moonlight. A moment not to forget. It was a significant to remember all the good memories. I am showing to you here a picture of me and the shore of Cancun. I was seated in front of our hotel. This was the last afternoon and I took this picture while my hubby was capturing the scene with the handy cam. We stayed at Royal Islander, the best hotel view so far with all our travels.

Sausalito, CA

I have been visiting Sausalito a few times. It is an upscale little town. The town is facing the bay. It is a very nice place to live. But with how the property is facing the body of water, it is extremely expensive to purchase a house there. There is also a dock area where the boats are. I wish I could own one and live one. Just an extreme thought. I don't know where and how to achieve success in finances. I am no entrepreneur but I might be one day. It is up to me if I want to improve or not. But let's just think that all of this thoughts are just wishes.

The last time I went to visit was with Jane. She's my very best cousin in the whole wide world. We might be blood related but she seems like to me a friend, all in one. I love her dearly and she means a lot to me. This is the picture of the place with me and Jane.

The Way I Look

When I look at myself, the best asset I could think to drive people’s attention is by the way my eyes are and the smile I can extend to them. You might agree or not, see it for yourself with the picture below. One that I can attest was with how my husband captured his heart leading to marry me. It is not just by the look itself but the whole package as well.

While I was still dating back then, I always make an impression of using my eyes. The very effective moment I was using that very look was one day I was in the hotel with friends. We were watching a musical group in the lobby. Across from our table there was this cute guy. I glanced in his direction and waited until he noticed me. Just a few minutes of waiting, he saw me and he didn’t blink his eyes. I was smiling deep inside. After I locked him with that stare, he approached to our table and offered everyone a drink. That was back then when I was single, now I am married I used my flirting ways to my husband to get that Victory Hair.

Weird Feeling

My day was busy at work. I had to do a new schedule for July 7-11. I had not been focusing about it because the phone was busy. Besides, my co-worker is not helping me much. It is like they will wait on me to take that call. I hate it now. I would be happy if I could just be there working alone than with them when you know they won't help you. It is frustrating at times also when they give you some attitude.

At the end of the day, I talked to my boss with the schedule. His giving me questions I didn't answer him positively. He is into his questioning mood again. Behind my mind, I don't give a damn on what he thinks and what he might think of me. I've been doing my job as possible as I can. Whatever extra works that is needed, I will always make sure to work on it fast and accurately. I had enough of his attitude. There's more few weeks to go and I can finally tender my resignation. The 3rd week of July is my target plan. After a wee from my vacation, I will give him the surprise of his life. Let's see what his going to do then. I don't want to stay even if I can't find a new job.

Fixing something

I have been here sitting facing my butt on the laptop. I came home dismayed on my shopping that was not successful. I was trying at this time to get all things done that I must supposed to do today. With some bad luck on my account on paid blogging that I received one rejection but the majority gave me positive feedback. I am just hoping that all of my posts will be approved. As to my travel mileage from US Airways. I am devastated on the fees that they implement on reinstating my miles. For 17,000 miles I had, they will charge $100 for a fee. Is that ridiculous? I could have paid $25 when they sent me an email last May 28. They just give short notice and it will expire on the 30th. Is that how they do it these days? I am eligible to have that fee wave but the lady I spoke with insisted that I will pay the full amount of $100. How about my hubby's miles of more than 25K, they will charge him $200 for that. It is so strange with the air lines these days. No wonder they go bankrupt. I will talk to my hubby tonight on how we will gonna do it. Paying 300 bucks is way too much. I could buy a purse coach on that.

Not much Help

I left work with some kind not feeling good because I felt that my co-worker doesn't help me. Majority all of the calls I am handling it. I would be okay when the phone is not crazy. But if I joggle with the calls and attending the phone dispatch that make me nuts. It doesn't make me nuts actually if it's just me alone there. I should have a hand doing the job but it happened there's 2 of us and the girl who supposedly would give me a hand was just too insensitive she didn't pick up the call. So it ended up the 3rd line was kept on ringing. I didn't take the call because I had enough of her that she didn't move. My boss picked up the call and he checked after from a far if I wasn't doing anything but I had a donor in line that I talked to. At least I took pride that I did my best to joggle the calls. I just have 1 mouth to deal with so I didn't mind it at all.

Chilly day

I went to work today feeling a little bit chilly. It was kind of weird to have this chilly day when it had been days of being in the warm zone. Anyway, it's good to have this kind of weather than feeling the heatwave. I had frequent headaches when it had happened and glad now that it wasn't so bad. Nothing much to tell at work, I am still doing all the majority calls. My boss was helping me in some way. Kristal is off today so it's just me and Liz. My boss didn't know and of course he messed up again his calendar that he forgets about Kristal's off today. I wonder where he set his priorities. But I am glad, nothing bad happen to me and him. I just don't mind him so much now. I will just be counting the days I could be there working.

Hollywood Love

Did you see the movie Moulin Rouge? It is one of the movies that I really love. And, the famous line that I am sure you could remember “The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.” It is a very touching movie and every time I watched it I’ll be in tears.

I am no person to give my trust and love in that instant. But I had been challenge by love before and I found it. Plan for the day

Last week was kind of unfortunate for my honey. His truck giving him problems until last Friday, as you all know its Friday the 13th. It's quite a bad day for him. The truck was giving him problems to the last minute that he pushed it so hard just to be able to get back to our place. It caused him so much stress. So our plan for the day is to look for cars. Not too certain if we will get a brand new, but for now all we need to concentrate upon is to get a reliable car for him. I am still paying my dues for my car so we will be considering some monetary plans on the next one. We don't guarantee of the progress of our search today, but we will still be looking around for few days. Also, considering my neighbors bad behavior which happened again yesterday. They were arguing until the police came. I don't know who call for the police and it was settled right away. This bastards are just making us all nuts. Sorry for my language, but that just how I feel about them. So with that, it pushed up to find some new place to settle in. We are hoping by August we can move from here. By that, we need to start packing. It will be so tiring then but we just want our peace of mind to leave out of this place.

Getting some Opps

It is amazing today when I got up I checked right away as to what SS could give me. Out of my delight I have 6 Opps to do. It blows my mind away. But I am happy they give me the chance to write my thoughts about. I just did the last Opp and finally I can relax. I have to eat lunch in awhile I am getting so hungry. I wanted to finish my last task so I can watch tv and read my book hopefully to finish it today. Will you see you in a bit.

My job involved a lot of printing maps and reports. If not every day, it is most of the time. I am not only the one using the printer so everyone in the company is using it. Ink cartridges would likely be replaced often. With my company, Dell is the brand name that we are using for our printers. Tarsier

I visited Bohol several times when I was still in the Philippines. The picturesque beauty of the surrounding had captivated my love for nature. It is so nice to enjoy the moment when looking at the view that’s enchanting. One of the reason Bohol is a tourist destination place. It is the world known for it’s white powdery, turquoise water in Panglao, chocolate hills in Carmen, “Sandugo” in Baclayon and the last but not the least famous for the smallest monkey in the world Tarsier. This tiny little animal is like a size of your palm. It has big round eyes.

I happen to see one of its kind year 2004 with my parents and Joey when we toured Bohol. They live in a small tree just like a clay pot tree you could display at your house. The tree stands 2 feet to 5 feet tall having few leaves and branches. Their kind is going to get extinct so the government is helping their habitat to be safe as possible.

Up close with the animal, it so cute I would like to pet them at home. I know it isn't a good idea to take them from the environment they live. It is just wishing that I could have such a cute pet.

Dating

A good day to start our day with some coffee from Starbucks that my husband swang by at the nearest location. We spent our few hours watching tv while waiting for our appointment at 2:30pm. We took a shower, dressed and ate out first at King Chopstick near San Tomas Expy. Few minutes there and was entertained by a very wholesome vietnamese who thought I am vietnamese. She said I looked like Thailander but my hair looks like viet. That's still a compliment. Afterwards, drove to Scott boulevard heading to N Winchester Blvd. It took us sometime to find a parking lot in Santana Row. Until able to find a good place few walking distance to Inspa. We were greeted by the receptionist, took our names and had to filled out information. It was a good day to have a relaxing massage. We walked through some boutiques and then drop by to DSW. I didn't find what I'm looking for so will take another time to find a tennis shoes that I really want. Hubby decided to come home and let us check on movie. I searched the time schedule, went to AMC Mercado in Mission College and watched Indiana Jones. It is so nice to spend the day dating. We always have the moment to spare every weekend and I love doing it. For me dating can make the relationship work, it is the best time to do it now while we still don't have kids. Dating should not stop if there are kids. Never stop doing it and don't let other people's judgment intervene what it is best for you.

Do some chores

I came home early every friday 30 minutes earlier than the regular time. I just work 7.5 hours every friday and there is also 1 friday that I will not be working. Today is the day that I have to report and do some kicking. It wasn't bad at work. My boss was at his good mood. He didn't give me problems for few weeks now. The new responsibility he gave me helped him to light up his work and made him happy about it for I did a good job. I hope it will continues to be like that.

Anyway, I think I already off from what this post is all about. I just want to let you know how tiring it will be for anyone who lives here in the US who doesn't have so much to do more job especially doing chores at home. I did 3 loads of laundry today. It was a bit tough to carry all the clothes back and forth at a 2nd floor apartment. I did survive but I've got aching back now. Tomorrow I will do another chores to clean up the place. Green for the Future

My experience exploring the “How to Get a Green Thumb?” was useful. It enlighten me more on how beneficial it is to be aware on how our world is doing and what it’s going to happen in the near future. I did make a comment because I agree of using artificial plants can help people with symptoms of allergies.

My husband is prone to seasonal allergies. It is very sad to look at him suffering when it happens. At home we don’t use real plants we likely to use artificial silk plants. Not only it is economical, we can also help from destroying our environment but cutting trees. I would go for green in the future. I don’t want our world to be bald. The more greenery there is the better. Thus, using silk plants is very advantageous not just for people who have allergies but also the nature of the earth.

What the day had been

This morning the day was gloomy. It looks like it's going to rain but it did not. A little bit cooler. All my co-workers were wearing sweaters where I just wore a casual tops. I felt a little bit cold but I didn't mind it. When the lunch time came, I went outside to have a 15minutes break just to relax inside my car and listen to music. The sky is getting better and it was a nice moment to find peace.

The clock strike at 4:30 I logged out, turned the phone lines off eventhough Liz wasn't there yet. She was attending a buyer but I can't wait for her to get back. I just went to check with her and told her that I turned off all the lines while she's negotiating with the auto buyer. I hurriedly drove to Savemart. A 10 minutes drive from work. The streets not busy so it's a good drive. The routes I take always not so busy. I feel relieve on that. Anyway, I parked the car when I was in the location. A guy came up to me while I was heading to the door and asked for money. I ignored him walking too fast and he said "have a nice day" disgusted. Why would anyone ask for money when they're very healthy they are able to work. It could just mean one thing they're lazy and look for easy money. I hate those people. We immigrants are even striving hard to a different country to survive and earn a living than having this local who just ask for money. No way, I would care to give a dime.

It was few minutes from all the things that I need to buy I came home ate some left over pizza for snacks. I need to iron my clothes, wash the dishes, cook some dinner and clean up the apartment. A lot of things to do and I should or must do. Until then , see you next time.

Nice day

It is a nice day today. It is not chilly nor it is not hot. Every lunch time with the 15mins time remaining that I have for break time, I spend it inside my car rolling up all the windows and relaxing. The wind is so nice when it goes through the car. It is a nice feeling to feel at ease and just lay being comfortable at the same time listening to my favorite radio station. I just started this a week ago. I love doing it. As long as the weather will stay the same like this. I will often go out just to get some fresh air.
