Mesothelioma

Mesothelioma is the cancer of the lining of the lungs. The caused of this disease is due to the exposure of asbestos. I have no idea what this meant until I read about it. This is very serious and anyone experiencing symptoms of this disease should go to the doctor and have this check. It will cause death. It’s not the kind of illness that should not be neglected.

People who are in the construction business and working in the construction are very likely exposed to this. I might think those who worked in the 1980’s or the earlier part. The materials built for the houses are commonly asbestos due to the heat resistant. This is a shock to find how things can be bad. I wonder how people could feel when they have Mesothelioma Cancer. It is very painful to accept that for many years you are trying to make a living but in the later part of your life you will just have to find out that you have cancer. Accepting the fact is painful as well as accepting the truth that you are ill. Surviving Mesothelioma is getting aware and you have yourself checked. Any symptoms should be observed closely.

Pali Look Out

It was raining when we were riding on the bus going to this location. The bus driver was saying to us that hopefully when we were up there the rain would stop. It did and we were able to go out from the bus and take a picture. This was the place of the battle of Pali. I haven't really read the entire history on this one and I must read about it. It's a shame not to but I will. Anyhow, this is just to let you see how nice the place is. You can see the wet land and the dry land. Gust winds on this so crazy. I wore a skirt but I've got no problem because I was wearing shorts underneath. The bus driver told us especially who wore skirts to be very careful. I was and I was aware about it so there was no concern on my part. I haven't got to take a very good picture on this because of the weather but I got a couple.

RepairPal

When you have a good car, you need to really have a good maintenance. Any failures or problems with the car can cost you so much. It is wise to be on top of it because if anything comes up, you don’t have to worry so much. It’s also better to check your cars performance at most times when able to prevent spending with the out of the ordinary circumstances.

I know a lot of people who owns an Acura TL. They really love their car. Of course, it’s not cheap and the quality is good. That’s what money can pay for. But any cars would fail if a driver don’t care much about it. I believe most of them really would go for a shop or dealer to have it maintained. It would still cost some money. When you own a car, responsibility comes with it. It’s like your baby. I myself do this too even though I own a different make and model. Oil change is a must because this could ruin your engine and running condition of the vehicle. Owners should regularly do this. Don’t let regrets come when it happens.

To get more life span of the car, proper maintenance is a must and should not be neglected. For the years the car serve you, some common problems would occur. You might get a brake job or something else. But rely only to a company that can do good service. You may refer at this site for a better view. Houston auto repair is a very good in doing that kind of work.

Halona Blow Hole

As part of the tour we had on Oahu, we've come across this live volcano blow hole above sea level. I caught this picture where it spits some white smoke. It just small but it's apparent it's active. The rocks form on of the area is the dried lava. How amazing mother nature work it's wonder in creating this. Apart from the blow hole few distance away from it is a rocky beach. There are still people going to the place and swim.

Spitting some white smoke.

This taken on the bus while we passed it. On the far left is the look out.

Visit Foster's Bighorn for a heady dining experience in Rio Vista

Guest post written by mommy blogger Alex Fosterson

I live in a quaint little town called Rio Vista, Ca. I am a single parent on a tight budget, and I do not go out for meals often. Last night, however, was one of those rare occasions.

Faced with the prospect of leftover meatloaf, my children revolted. They are normally very gracious, but they had clearly had it with my meatloaf and desperately wanted a break from my cooking. To tell the truth, so did I. They begged and pleaded for me to take them to a restaurant for a change.

It took very little convincing for me to abandon my kitchen and enjoy the short walk to a local restaurant. I was just too hungry to resist splurging.

We threw on our coats, set the home security video surveillance and headed towards Main Street. Along the way, the three of us came to a consensus on which restaurant to try. Foster's Big Horn it was.

Foster's Big Horn is a Rio Vista standout because it features an astonishing collection of big game animal heads and quite a few whole bodies. Nearly all of the available wall space is utilized in a taxidermy showcase the likes of which I have never seen elsewhere. It's an amazing spectacle. There is even an elephant's foot that serves as a trash can.

Decor aside, the food and service where terrific. Foster's has kid's meals with shrimp or ribs for around five dollars. That's a value that beats meatloaf.

Sunset in Waikiki

While chasing for the last sunset, it wasn't the best but sure does for keeps.

This is my second time in Oahu, Hawaii. Just a short notice, hubby booked for 5 nights. It was unexpected because we never really plan about going nowhere. Indeed, it's nice to be able to travel when able. I had a marvelous time spending my leisure time watching the sunsets and how the day would come by. The weather just kept on changing. Sunny in the morning drizzle in the afternoon and the other way around. It never poured rain though so we were lucky.

Taken at the balcony facing the ocean. How lovely isn't it?

Anyway, my first take of photos here was 2005 and I didn't get lucky because I don't know much with photography. This time I had a few that I finally got it but not quite as I envision it. But I made justice to the photos as well thankful that hubby tried to take some for me in the background.
It was hard to get this picture but I am glad hubby pushed to get it for me.
