Cat - Pet Photography

Daphne is my very first pet that I took glamorously. Isn't she adorable? I took this shot while I was inside Kasie's room setting and measuring lights. By the way Kasie is the daughter of my friend Louella who lives in Nebraska. This photo was taken sometime in August of this year while I was visiting them.

I was doing a pictorial for Kasie that day. But Daphne was the trial shot. Behind this photo was the pink curtain served as a background. She was on the floor below the window frame. I felt she wanted to take me a shot of her so I rushed to take this shot. We got an eye connection. It was one of a kind shot and rare. I would say she did good.

Well I get amazed with this bird at Boardwalk Santa Cruz. One afternoon strolling along and enjoying the view, this bird catch the audience charm. I for one, can't help not to take a photo. He stood near me and took a pose.

Flower collection

I have some photos here that I just recently browsed in my not overly looked folders. These were given to me by my thoughtful husband. Most of those times, it surprises me and my heart melt. It's really nice to have look at old photos and remembering it.
A valentines bouquet that I received. This was taken at home February 2009.

This is my very first Orchid plant. It was given to me Sept 2009 for a 4th Anniversary present.

We were at Cafe Uno when hubby surprisingly handed it to me. This was from the recent trip in Cebu February 2010.

This lily was harvested April 4th just of this year. Hubby was sweet enough to gave it me.

Nikon CLS Function

My very first entry to CLS photo. I had taken this to a friend's house yesterday attending a children's party. I only took a couple of shots since there's not so much light in the room it doesn't create the image I have in mind. It created a huge shadow on the object of focus. I was a little bit disappointed but hey it's my first try. I can see the difference right away. But with much more practise, I can capture an image that portrays what I have in mind.

Another visit to Santa Cruz

When I miss the beach, I will always go to Santa Cruz. This is the always hide out place I want to get myself relax. Seeing the people do their own thing from hiking, biking, walking, swimming, surfing and many other activities is a lot of fun to see.

Yesterday, I went with hubby. I told him I want to have another photo of the light house. When we parked in front, we see the Hola hoop girls doing their hola's. There were couple of girls that were really good to look at and some were just too painful to see. It wasn't expected that the weather could be breezy. When I took my photos, hubby was forcing me to come and go inside the car. He couldn't stop being cold. It was foggy too. I thought it could be warm clear sky day. Despite the weather, we just stayed inside loving the scenery.

Maribago Blue Waters, Cebu Philippines

Cebu is the queen city of the south. The second largest city in the Philippines. A lot of tourists from neighboring Asian countries, Europe, America would like to visit the island. It is famous of its nice beach and scenic views. I just want to talk to you here about one which I felt was memorable for me. The resort called Maribago Blue Waters. It was my first time to see it and a very surprise moment of my life happen that day.

I was being proposed there before the sunset where I was sitting in a bench December 24, 2004. Joey knelt down his knees asked my hand in marriage. Romantic it is to be in a solemn cool place. It was also a lucky day for us because that very time it was not crowded. It is like we own the beach ourselves. I had made "yes" and we were engaged.
