A day in Santa Cruz

It was such a beautiful day to spend the day. We make the most of the wonderful we have. Hubby and I went to see the beach and just relax. Mostly we were seating at the trunk of the car facing the ocean and loving the same talking to our future and ideas. It was a very pretty cool scenario.

The weather was starting to cool down 2 hours before sunset. I was not able to see it but it was such a lovely day.

Pali Look Out

It was raining when we were riding on the bus going to this location. The bus driver was saying to us that hopefully when we were up there the rain would stop. It did and we were able to go out from the bus and take a picture. This was the place of the battle of Pali. I haven't really read the entire history on this one and I must read about it. It's a shame not to but I will. Anyhow, this is just to let you see how nice the place is. You can see the wet land and the dry land. Gust winds on this so crazy. I wore a skirt but I've got no problem because I was wearing shorts underneath. The bus driver told us especially who wore skirts to be very careful. I was and I was aware about it so there was no concern on my part. I haven't got to take a very good picture on this because of the weather but I got a couple.

Highway 1 - Rock Formation

It's been our thing to do some scenic road trip during the weekends. I have this picture that I took where me and hubby was driving along highway 1 going towards San Francisco. This capture my attention because of it's formation. It is like rocks put together to form like a house. I don't know if this is handmade or pure nature. It caught my attention that very time and with the long range lens I had that day, I did a little justice on it though it's apparent the noise on the picture.

Mountain View - Cebu

One of the many beautiful spot you don't have to miss in Cebu is this great over looking scene. This is located at Busay maybe 15 kilometers from the City. The road going up to the top is a hell of a ride if you don't have a better ride. We were riding a small car with full capacity so it was a dragging ride to get there. Lucky, the car did make it and we arrived safe and sound on top.
At the entrance, we paid Php50 each excluding the kids. We were 14 of us including the children. It is more like a complete family get together. I was happy to bring them all to see it in one time. It's good to share the blessings you have. My dad was happy he finally able to visit the place. I remembered he was asking my sister in law as to when we will going there. So I did took him with the rest of the family on my last visit. Everyone had a good time.

My Entire family

Mom and Dad

Big brother Aldin

Me with the view. Envy? Come on see it yourself. It's not too far.

Strange Clouds

I have 2 photos here that I remembered when I went to Reno, Nevada last year. I took the photos because I find it so strange.

On the road looked up the sky. This strange clouds appeared so weird, huge and long. I thought there might be an alien festival up there. There were a couple of circular clouds formed too but I got the hard time taking a good shot. I was with hubby while driving the highway towards Reno.
In this scene, I find the clouds illuminates the hotel in Alanis. I like the way the clouds appear above the hotel. The color itself made it more attractive. It was a nice drive and see such a nice environment.

Boracay 2010

You will surely miss a whole lot of things when you visit to the Philippines if you skipped going to the beach. The country composes of 7,107 islands. Imagine how it would look like. You would think somehow where to find that personal paradise of choice. As for me and hubby, I would consider one of them is Boracay. It has the finest white sand that I have stepped on. I had been to Hawaii, Mexico, Aruba, Phuket Thailand and Penang Malaysia. So far, there’s nothing beats the sand of Boracay. Locals of the island should be proud of it. I do sure hope they could maintain it and make more progress in the island. From the last time I’ve been there, there are so much change that I saw when I went back last February. It’s a good change and they really have a better system now.

Mantayupan Falls, Barili Cebu

This is the 2nd famous water falls in Cebu. It just recently opened for public. It is not very crowded yet but as people would flock here and see this place this place will be full. To compare this with Kawasan, I think I would prefer to go to this location. Not too far from the City an hour drive and walking towards the falls and creek was not too bad too. I hope this place would maintain it's cleanliness so we could get the serenity of this beautiful view.

Seagull by Golden Gate Bridge

It was a little bit chilly on May 1st Friday in San Francisco. It was about past 9am when me and the husband went down to this place. We droved here to get the best picture of the bridge. It showered a bit, the winds blown away my hair like crazy while hands trembled. Tried to resist the cold felt, saw a seagull landed and I captured a perfect silhouette of the bridge at the back. The original pictures wasn't really concentrated on the seagull but when I look over it, just so happen it stroke me to let the seagull shine... There are so many things to capture in the lens of a camera and I for one lucky enough and proud though not a professional I can see beauty in nature...Hope you like this.

Pillar Harbor, Half Moon Bay

Hubby came home at 4pm while I was chatting with Wella. He asked me whether we'll be going out. When he asked me that, he wanted to go somewhere else. So I said yes. I don't know where we'll be head at. We stopped first at Starbucks few blocks from where we live. Got my tall frappucino mocha where he got his Americano. Minutes passed we were on Highway 101 taking north passed mountain View and exited to Half Moon Bay.

The area was quite foggy. Hoping it could be a clear bright sunny day. Good that I brought my coat while hubby his sweatshirt. We arrived at Pillar Harbor. Hubby is interested to look for a boat. He was thinking for a company outing that they might be having soon. In my mind it could be one of his suggestion if his big boss will asks. I told him that if I can go when it will be approved. He just smiled at me. It just meant "no". Well, it's their company outing. I am an outsider. Just a wishful thinking though.

Anyway, we seen the boat that he was interested to see. Took some pictures. With a chilly atmosphere I was craving for a soup. We stopped at Sam's chowder restaurant. Waited for 15minutes seated in a comfy seat facing the ocean. It was a good evening to spend and just ate for dinner.

Another visit to Santa Cruz

When I miss the beach, I will always go to Santa Cruz. This is the always hide out place I want to get myself relax. Seeing the people do their own thing from hiking, biking, walking, swimming, surfing and many other activities is a lot of fun to see.

Yesterday, I went with hubby. I told him I want to have another photo of the light house. When we parked in front, we see the Hola hoop girls doing their hola's. There were couple of girls that were really good to look at and some were just too painful to see. It wasn't expected that the weather could be breezy. When I took my photos, hubby was forcing me to come and go inside the car. He couldn't stop being cold. It was foggy too. I thought it could be warm clear sky day. Despite the weather, we just stayed inside loving the scenery.

Mesmerizing Beach

I am no good of wearing swimsuit but just wanted to post this picture for this was taken at Playa del Carmen Beach in Mexico. The beach is walking distance from our resort. Across this beach is Cozumel, where lots of tourists from the cruise ship land into. Lots of shopping over there as I've heard but I got no intension of spoiling my day relaxing in this beautiful beach.

I don’t admire easily going to the beach and swim. This one enthralled me. The water was calm. It was after sunset the water is warmer but refreshing. It was a good choice to spend our first wedding anniversary in there. A little pricy on the resort but money is worth its value. I was so thankful that my husband took time to find the best place for us to enjoy our day. I was lucky enough to be there and had a great time of my life.

Poplar Beach

One sunny windy afternoon in Poplar Beach at Half Moon Bay dated March 1, 2008 where I was with my hubby relaxing, reflecting inside our car looking at this charismatic view. We had tried to walk at the edge of the sea cliff and I took this picture. I love nature especially the beach. Listening to the splash of the waves and wind caresses my skin is so refreshing it could clear my mind from the stress of work and life’s spices. It is soothing to be in a place like this where you need to take time to loosen up and just be happy of what you have.

Big Buddha, Hongkong

This website is basically focus on the world's scenery that I have seen, traveled and witnessed by my own very eyes. I will start from now on to write something about my experience and how wonderful our world is full with.

This is a very picturesque view behind the Big Buddha located at Ngong Ping, Lantau Island in Hongkong. The mountains captivate the beauty of nature and the statue is situated near the Po Lin Monastery. Getting there you need to take a train or ferry and ride a cable car passing the wonderful scenery with temperature dropping. I am so lucky I had the chance to visit this wonderful creation of man but amaze by the exquisite appearance of the surrounding. If you have the chance to visit Hongkong, you must not to miss this site. It is part of man’s creation with nature’s magnificence.
