I am lucky that I live in California I didn't experience the bad storm that is hitting the mid west right now. I saw pictures in yahoo and all I could see are those white snow covering mostly of the place. It's very dangerous for everyone and power line shortages could likely happen. I hope that every one in the area are cautious enough for this kind of severe weather.

I find it quite interesting that you feel those people in the rest of the country are in more danger because of the snow than you are by living on the San Andreas fault. I guess we all face the wrath of nature regardless of where we live.
ya i live in the midwest...i'm happy we got hit because i had 4 snowdays from college :D
U nas w Polska nie ma takich zjawisk atmosferycznych jak huragany jednak ilość śniegu jaka spada jest dużym problemem.Pozdrawiam
@Cucipata: everywhere we go there's no assurance that we could be safe. so in times of calamities like this especially those that are affected need our support it might not be monetary but at least in a way to give them some positive thoughts that we think of them and wish them for safety.
