Snow in San Francisco

The rarity of snow in the bay area is historic and it did not snow since 1976. The weather forecast said that today unsual snow will be by at night until saturday morning. Just dont know how the moisture of the air will accumulate those period of time. Residents might going to see some snow flakes. It's just very rare to see this happening.

I will be expecting to get cold tonight and might going to have some hot choco after a delicious dinner. I will be out with hubby celebrating for an anniversary in commemoration of our cebu Wedding. I hope I will not freeze to death tonight. I am hoping for the best.

Real Estate in CA

I was reading the news few weeks ago about how the change in real estate places such as San Jose, San Diego and Washington. The cities real estate prices has gone up 3% or so for the last year report. It’s good to see prices going up but there’s still no doubt many places are still going down. With just a minimum rate and positive about real estate it’s really good to keep watch and read about areas that you may want to invest or buy. I have not been to San Diego and Washington but San Jose is the area where I am and I can see how the market is doing right now. It’s a pretty challenging for home buyers to purchase houses because inventory is just not that much on average median prices.

About San Diego, I wish to go there someday. My husband was so many stories to tell about the county and it’s one of my goals one day to be able to see how San Diego is and how the real estate market there especially Mission Beach where it’s just two miles from the ocean. I love to see how the property is situated near the ocean. That could be a good retirement place to live.

What makes good about living here in the bay area is the weather and the kind of neighborhood that we are in. There are pockets too. Not all the streets are great but there is just a bunch of nice streets as well. I love going to Saratoga from where I live which is just very close. Just a mile down the road and I can see how the houses are well kept and those million dollar property. It’s lovely to see all of those and I wonder just how lucky those home owners are.

Storm in Kaui

I was there in September of last year and I was eager to take photos of the beach. The day was cloudy and it was starting to drizzle. I walked to the beach hoping it would stop and it did for some minutes and I was able to take photos. I got the hard time checking on the settings of the camera and hoping that every photos I took can somehow be enough.

I took sometime to edit of the lighting and sharpness of the photos. It turned out okay. It was really a lovely scene if there's a little sunlight. But overall, it's a very nice view.

Snow Storm in The Midwest

It's quite late for me now to update what's going on with the midwest last week. Several states have been suffering from missing work, staying home and others are working at home telecommuting and many companies just shut down due to the inaccessible road.

I have seen pictures of my friends on that side of the state and I pity for what they have been suffering. I am hoping hopefully that they could have a better weather condition for the coming days.

This article below is from ABC-NEWS:

Some forecasters said it could be the worst snowstorm the country has seen in more than 40 years. More than a foot of snow may fall on a 2,100-mile stretch from New Mexico to Maine. The National Weather Service even warned that high winds on Lake Michigan could produce waves of 25 feet, leading to coastal flooding, particularly along Chicago's Lake Shore Drive.

The storm has already snarled air traffic in Chicago and Dallas, the site of Sunday's Super Bowl. American Airlines cancelled 600 flights out of Chicago and another 900 flights at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. According to Flightaware.com, more than 6,300 flights have been cancelled nationwide so far, with the number expected to increase as the storm moves east.

Blizzard warnings are in effect for nine states with the storm expected especially to affect Oklahoma City, Kansas City, St. Louis, Detroit, Des Moines, , Chicago and Milwaukee.

In Tulsa, Okla., the Tulsa World has announced Wednesday's paper will not be printed because of the storm, though the online edition will continue.

"This will be the first time in our history that we have not printed a Tulsa World," said publisher Robert E. Lorton III. "However, we wanted to make sure our employees and their families remained safe as we all try to deal with this weather."

Flood in US Mid West

I am lucky that I live in California I didn't experience the bad storm that is hitting the mid west right now. I saw pictures in yahoo and all I could see are those white snow covering mostly of the place. It's very dangerous for everyone and power line shortages could likely happen. I hope that every one in the area are cautious enough for this kind of severe weather.
